“Before we agreed to terms, LeBron and I had a couple conversations,” Wade said. “I can’t recall exactly what we said, but the gist of it was we wanted to give ourselves the flexibility and the option to play together.”
“A lot of times in this league, players usually wind up going where they can get the most money. We’re both blessed within that area. We’ve made a lot of money. So we wanted to base our decision on two things, the organization and the ability to win a title. And that’s what we’ll do. When the season is over, we plan to sit down and talk about it.”

I THINK LEBRON SHOLUD WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP N CLEVELAND. THEN WADE SHOULD COME DOWN THERE THATS THE CAVS BIG 4 KING,FLASH,DIESEL,& MO. LEBRON & WADE CAN HAVE THEIR OLYMPIC NUMBERS 6 & 9.
dwyane wade is the smartest basketball player on the universe and classy.
I know this is the era of free agency BUT we would be hard-pressed to name one NBA great champions (I mean great-not the wannabees like Charles Barkley, Karl Malone champions that had to leave there team to win a championship. Even Kareem Abdul-Jabar, and Wilt Chamberlin won a championship and then went to other teams while still in their pride. Lebron is a student of history and he should realize that if he leaves to win a championship he will be like Charles, Karl, Gary (Payton) and others that left and either didn’t win or rode the coatails of others to win one.
