Ah finally huh? Everyone has been waiting for the great Michael Jordan to speak upon this issue. MJ explains that NYC would need a hellova lot more than LeBron James to save that franchise, and that LeBron has made his mark here in Cleveland.
“He’s made his mark in Cleveland. I know New York fans would love to have him, but you need a lot more components than just one player,”
Jordan said after playing in a celebrity golf tournament at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, L.I., leading up to next week’s U.S. Open there.
“He’s done a heck of a job in Cleveland and they deserve to have him there. He’s from that area.
“In terms of the game itself, small markets can benefit from it a lot more than the big markets can. That’s not a discredit to New York at all.”
well said, MJ. you know more than anybody else that lebron needs a scottie for him to win an NBA championship.

i agree, for LeBron to go to New York, the knicks have to get someone else also. LeBron’s not going to go there if they have the roster that they have now.

Yeah, I’d hate to see him throw all that work to build a great team in Cleveland go to waste, only to start over in New York.
