LeBron James, 24, is a free agent after next season and while he’s never said he would leave Cleveland, he’s never said he wouldn’t. As such, this move – his every move, actually – will be analyzed as the psyche of a championship-starved city hangs in the balance. James doesn’t need a bigger market to be a global icon (a now-doomed Nike puppet advertising campaign is proof of that). And he doesn’t seem to possess the personality that covets the bright lights of New York or L.A. (he still lives near Akron and mostly hangs out with high school buddies or his longtime girlfriend and two young children). He may need to leave to win a championship, though. “Going into the playoffs we were confident that we were going to be in the NBA Finals and we were confident that we were going to win it,” Williams said. “I can understand [James’] disappointment because I’m feeling the same disappointment.” Yahoo! I am sooooooo dissappointed that they didnt even make it to the finals….i blame it on everyones effort on that team. not just LeBron.

  • DOn’t worry cuz, your big men got exposed yall pretty nice 1-3, just get younger need more athletic bigs ya dig. Varejao and Z are gone after this season. Get Cavs Management to go out and sign Amare Stoudemire he can contest with Superman.

he shouldn’t but cavs just need a player as good as lebron. im not saying the team isnt good cuz they are, im saying that we need a player like nate robinson. cuz look at the lakers, look at the celtics. Lebron can’t do it by himself. No one can. I dont think he should go to NYC. cuz cleveland brought him to where he is now. Just get a player that can dominate. And ben wallace might retire so idk wat will happen.

LB, MJ never lefr Chicago when he lost to the Pistons in his early years, he eventually got people who were like minded and could handle pressure situation. You need that on Cleveland. Having home court advantage is not enough. You need people who are mentally ready for all sorts of situations and when one part of their game is off, they step it up in others. Defense wins championships. Your team D was not as good as game 5. Where ever you go you will be successful, but think about the path other great players have chosen, especially the old school ones, and make sure it is for you!…..See you next season! Stay up, and stay Blessed.

What happened? I can tell you what happened! LeBron is not getting the support that he needs! I mean come on he was pulling the Magics defense every time he drove to the basket which would create open looks for his team mates but they couldn’t handle it! For every great player in this sport to make it you have to have an equally great team! Cleavland has to do some thinking about some of the players that are on that team. LeBron can only be as good as that team lets him to be!!!

The issue the Cavs have is LeBron can do it by himself, they just have guys that are terrible and bring him down. They should keep Mo Williams and Daniel Gibson but restructure with pure team players that will help him acheive what everyone in Cleveland desires, a championship! There are some excellent players available that Cleveland could go after this year to make it happen. 2010 Cleveland will win the NBA Championship!
