Jason Kidd will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and the Cavaliers could be a fit for the veteran point guard.

“I could sit and watch from the bench,” Kidd said. “[LeBron] is so talented, he’s going to get guys wide open shots. So we’ll look at free agency and what happens for me next year.”

They will have their mid-level exception ($5 million) and their bi-annual exception ($2 million) they could use on outside free agents.
