The viral marketing for an upcoming campaign involving LeBron James has begun. In this short video, LeBron James speaks of following his first passion which leaves the door wide-open as the rumors begin to swirl.
Among the front-running speculation is that either James will debut a rap single or feature some how in his other sport of choice, football. Stay tuned for more details and mark January 18th on the calendar.

Hopefully it’s his announcment that he’s going to resign with the Cavaliers.
Hopefully patrick is wrong and his anouncemnt is that he is staying in Cleveland. It could be that he has decided to put Ohio on the map.
I’ve heard that even though this was a skit, he’s leaving for sure! He wants to win a Championship and unfortunately, Cleveland will never go all the way. I’ve even heard that LA is wanting him along side Kobe!

I think that LeBron isn’t talking about leaving the Cav’s. They are having their best season in years. It would be in very poor taste (and stupid) to turn the fans against you as your team has the best record in basketball for now. He did play football (and was outstanding) during his freshmen and sophmore years at St Vincent/St. Mary in Akron. The only reason he quit football was due to pressure from basketball scouts.
I bet the next installment involves LeBron leaving basketball for Football, his “first passion.” That would explain the photos on him with a Browns Jersey on.
No way LBJ announces he is leaving the Cavs in the middle of the season. That would be the lowest classless thing he could ever do. This is either hype for a commercial or an announcement that he will be signing an extension with the Cavs. Perhaps he may play for the Browns, but I doubt it. The risk to injury is too great for his growing “marketing worth” and for his earning ability.
Think about the insurance policy you can take out if your lebron him gettiing hurt in the nfl would pay him out big time….what no one is going to want lebron in the nba if he takes a season off ya right dawg!!. Who would be more than willing to pay him his money and let him follow his dream than Jay-z a good frined of his I think he can more than do both sports he would probably be a better baseball player than jordan ever was. I think he is coming out with a new nike football cleat but isnt it the wrong time of year to debut that ???? think about it
